FoogRL - Devlog kick-off


This week

I’ve been working on completing the mid-boss enemies. They’re fairly complicated, with lots of new attack types to implement and general behaviours. There’s 3 in total and I’m just finishing the 2nd one, the Wasp King.

He summons grubs that can fire projectiles, and then after 4 turns he transorms into a very fast moving wasp. The wasp has huge armour and health and he will stay in that form until he’s been hit 4 times.

It’s all done now but just testing. Pretty cool that this week some of the unit test coverage actually found a bug… There’s no animation for the morph but I’m bumping all additional animations to after the beta release. Just really wanna focus on getting a playable version out the door!
